EnginLink ("we") is a software service that provides secure remote access to industrial devices. This policy explains what data we process when you use our mobile app and web service. We respect your privacy and never sell your data.
Data we collect
- Account data: your email address and a securely hashed form of your password.
- Organization/machine data: the machine and device names you create, and your plan.
- Network scan results: when you connect to a machine, the IP/MAC address and vendor of devices on its local network — processed transiently to display them, not retained for marketing.
- Subscription data: Google Play / App Store purchase verification token (to verify your subscription).
- Technical logs: basic logs such as IP address and timestamps for security.
How we use data
- To provide the service, sign you in, and give you access to your devices.
- To verify subscription purchases and enforce your plan entitlements.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. Limited sharing occurs only to operate the service:
- Google / Apple: purchase token for in-app subscription verification.
- Our hosting provider: server infrastructure.
Data retention & account deletion
We retain your data while your account is active. You can delete your account anytime from the app: Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, machines, and related data. Alternatively, email info@enginlink.com.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit with TLS; passwords are irreversibly hashed. Device access happens over authenticated sessions.
Children
The service is not intended for individuals under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time and will post material changes on this page.
